All of us at Latin America for Less wish our readers a happy Thanksgiving as we introduce our November newsletter. In this month’s edition it is our pleasure to share an interview with our clients from the Association of Surfing Professional’s Championship about their vacation to Cuzco. For travelers making a shopping trip to Cuzco, we give some useful tips about buying alpaca and vicuña products. We explore what its like to celebrate Christmas during the subtropical Peruvian summer. Continuing this exotic theme, you can learn how to make Juanes, a typical and delicious Amazonian dish. Moving into the business world, after months of anticipation, the APEC Summit and the international delegation finally reached Lima and we explore some of the issues that were discussed by the leaders who attended. After a quick jump from Pacific to Atlantic, we highlight one of Argentina’s most exciting cultural festivals, the Night of the Museums in Buenos Aires. Also, be sure to take a peek at our new Costa Rica for Less informational website as we are in the process of expanding our travel offerings to one of the most popular destinations in the world. All of us here at Latin America for Less hope that these articles are going to fuel your enthusiasm for learning more about Latin America!

An Argentine Night of Culture and Art

Buenos Aires is known as the “Paris of South America” for its European charm and cosmopolitan feel. With the highest attendance in years, this all night tour was another reminder that there is an abundant amount of sights to see in the Argentine capital, even when one wanders away from the more touristy districts.

Annual APEC Summit Held in Lima

The streets of Lima were brought to a standstill from the 20th to the 23rd of November as several world leaders gathered in the Peruvian capital for the annual APEC summit.
