Splendidly isolated nearly 1,000km off the Ecuador coast, the Galapagos Archipelago is almost a world within a world. Whether on land or sea there is always a surprise of nature lurking around a corner on your Galapagos travel adventure. Giant tortoises grunt in distant highlands. Prehistoric marine iguanas hiss and spit sprays of salt. Pink flamingos adorn the shores of hidden lagoons. Flightless cormorants and tiny penguins dart amongst colorful schools of fish, while elegant tropical birds glide through deep blue skies.
With such a varied and utterly unique flora and fauna it is difficult to do justice to the Galapagos experience with words alone. The only way to truly appreciate this “heaven on earth” is to see it for yourself.
Aboard the comfortable Galapagos Legend cruise ship, you will experience the Galapagos Islands at their best. The Galapagos Legend accommodates up to 100 passengers and is ideal for travelers seeking comfort and an array of amenities to enhance their Galapagos cruise.

In the afternoon, you will continue on your Galapagos travel tour to Floreana Island where you will take an excursion to a Cormorant Point, a splendid green beach named after a US ship. Here, you’ll have the chances to observe various bird species as well as sea turtles (from December to May) that come to nest on the beach.
- Day 3: In the morning you will sail to Espanola Island where you will disembark your Galapagos cruise ship for another land excursion to Suarez Pint. Then you will continue on to San Cristobal Island where you will visit La Galapaguera, a breeding station and sanctuary for giant tortoises.
- Day 4: On the last day of your Galapagos cruise, your ship will sail again to Santa Cruz Island for a last excursion to Carrion Point, where the excellent Darwin Research Station is found. There you will learn all about conservation and research efforts led in the Galapagos Islands. You will also get the chance to admire various species of tortoises, some almost extinct. After the tour, you will board the Galapagos Legend for the last leg of your Galapagos travel adventure back to the Baltra airport, where you will catch your flight back to mainland Ecuador.

You will also have the chance to observe turtles, rays, and a coral reef only a short walk away. The lava rocks on the islands are teeming with crabs and many bird species. After the tour, you’ll return to your ship and sail back to Baltra where you will catch your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
